SQL Changes to Tables

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am trying to find help with changing tables in my OSC SQL Db. I have accessed the Db via MySQL, but can't figure out specifically how to implement the instructions contained in a contribution as outlined below:

INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_id, configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function) VALUES ('', 'Category/Products Display Order', 'CATEGORIES_SORT_ORDER', 'model', '<b>Valid Orders:<br>products_name<br>products_name-desc<br>model<br>model-desc</b>', 1, 99, '2002-12-30 13:28:47', '0000-00-00 00:00:00', NULL, NULL);

I assume that:

VALUES ('', 'Category/Products Display Order', 'CATEGORIES_SORT_ORDER', 'model', '<b>Valid Orders:<br>products_name<br>products_name-desc<br>model<br>model-desc</b>', 1, 99, '2002-12-30 13:28:47', '0000-00-00 00:00:00', NULL, NULL);[/

is the text required to be input into the Db, however, when I point MySQL to this line of data (saved as a .txt file) I get syntax errors. The problem is, I don't know what these syntax errors mean.

Is there anyone here who can point this idiot in the direction of a solution?

Any help appreciated!

That whole piece of text is what is needed to be imported into your database.
