Incorrect Product List Price of ?0

Guest

Recommended Posts

I hope someone can help me. I've just started using the shopping cart software. I've set my product listing price to one appropriate for the product. When it appears on the actual website it is set to "0".

I also cannot progress to the checkout but I guess that's something to do with it not being live. So any help on this would also be useful.

Many thanks in advance.

Did you created a new default currency?

In the edit did you put 1.0000000 as the value and then click on update currencies button ?

and in the catalog/includes/languages/english.php around line 36

// if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used w$

define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD');

Change it to whatever you need

Thank you very much for your quick response.

Yes I did, to GBP

define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD');

Unfortunately now I've made the changes you've suggested, and those are the only changes are made, I cannot see my site any more and get the following error message:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/pmtzqmjy/public_html/php/includes/languages/english.php on line 79

I have checked line 79 and it is the following string:

// whats_new box text in includes/boxes/whats_new.php

define('BOX_HEADING_WHATS_NEW', 'What's New?');

Please, please help!

Kind regards

Damian

Line 79 should be :

// whats_new box text in includes/boxes/whats_new.php
define('BOX_HEADING_WHATS_NEW', 'What\'s New?');

Remember to put a \ b4 any ' marks in the text ie "hello" would be \'\'hello\'\'

you have used the online filemanager to edit the file, this has caused the backslashes to be removed from the code.

This is a known issue and it is better to download a file using ftp software such as ws_ftp and edit offline then upload to the server.

every instance of an apostrophe in the file will require to be escaped with a backslash so what's needs to be what\'s

// whats_new box text in includes/boxes/whats_new.php
define('BOX_HEADING_WHATS_NEW', 'What\'s New?');

the next errors to be encountered are here

// javascript messages
define('JS_ERROR', 'Errors have occured during the process of your form.\n\nPlease make the following corrections:\n\n');

define('JS_REVIEW_TEXT', '* The \'Review Text\' must have at least ' . REVIEW_TEXT_MIN_LENGTH . ' characters.\n');
define('JS_REVIEW_RATING', '* You must rate the product for your review.\n');

define('JS_ERROR_NO_PAYMENT_MODULE_SELECTED', '* Please select a payment method for your order.\n');

No longer giving free advice. Please place deposit in meter slot provided.  Individual: [=] SME: [==] Corporation: [===]
If deposit does not fit one of the slots provided then you are asking too much! :P

Thank you all very much. You were all spot on and I'm all back working with my correct prices showing.

I was using the online editor because I'm doing this from work and don't have access to FTP due to firewall restrictions. Now that I know this though I'll stop being impatient and wait until I get home to finish my site.

Thanks again!!!
