remstrus
Hello I wonder if you can help me? I am running OSC with PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN 2.9, everything works fine exept when I run a payment through Paypal the stock isn't reduced and no order confirmation is recieved (I recieve the admin order confirmation but no customer order confirmation). I complete the checkout and click finish to return to the store. The IPN's are recorded fine, the payment is recorded fine, orders are recorded fine. The only problem as above is that the stock isn't reduced and the customer isn't sent a order confirmation email. My config is as follows : Paypal: PayPal Enable PayPal Module True E-Mail Address sarah@tattyteddys.co.uk Business ID sarah@tattyteddys.co.uk Transaction Currency Selected Currency Payment Zone --none-- Set Pending Notification Status Processing Set Order Status Processing Set On Hold Order Status On Hold Set Canceled Order Status Canceled Synchronize Invoice True Sort order of display. 0 Background Color White Processing logo oscommerce.gif Store logo PayPal Page Style Name default Include a note with payment No Shopping Cart Method Itemized Enable PayPal Shipping Address No Digest Key PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN Test Mode Off Cart Test On Debug Email Notifications Yes Debug Email Notification Address sarah@tattyteddys.co.uk PayPal Domain www.paypal.com Return URL behavior 1 Stock : Check stock level true Subtract stock true Allow Checkout false Mark product out of stock OUT OF STOCK Stock Re-order level 5 Many Thanks
Guest
I have exactly the same problem. The old paypal module worked fine as long as the customer pressed "continue" on the paypal site. Now even if they do It wont reduce the stock or send osCommerce emails....
Guest
Does anybody have an answer for this? I've been searching this forum looking for an answer but all I find is many more people in the same boat. I have done the IPN test and this works fine. Both Emails are sent from osCommerce and the stock is reduced. Is it a problem on the paypal side? Anyone?

Guest
I'm having this problem as well. Any fix? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you need to install a payment module instead of using the default one which came with oscommerce. Here is the link http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1753 though i have not tried but i think this will solve the issue AL

It works great for everything, except the stock reduction, which is where I'm still stuck. To be fair, I don't know if this was a problem before I installed it or not. Guest
Hi Folks, I'm having the same problem, and until now I thought it was my fault. :-( I've had a quick glance throught the coding of the paypal mod and it turns out it has it's own checkout process.php file with no order confirmation. I'm gonna give it a go to see if I'm right with a quick bit of coding. If anybody else has any suggestions .... keep 'em flowing .,.....
