AOL Cannot Login

After changing the Check IP address field to TRUE I found that many AOL users were not able to login. After entering their correct user name and password and clicking on login, they would simply be taken back to the same login page.

 

Changing the Check IP address field to FALSE solved the problem. (It's located at

Configuration | Sessions | Check IP Address).

 

The current settings I am using (which seem to work well) are:

 

Session Directory /tmp

Force Cookie Use False

Check SSL Session ID False

Check User Agent False

Check IP Address False

Prevent Spider Sessions True

Recreate Session False

 

 

 

If sessions are file based, store them in this directory.
