Skipping login.php

Does anyone have any idea how much work would be involved in skipping the login.php screen altogether, going straight to create_account.php with an option to login as a returning customer on the same page. Or if there is a contribution already similar to this?

I'm just not sure about what actually points to the login.php page.

Thanks a lot,

Rob

I did that myself.

The problem with leaving out the password, is that you can't lure customers 'back' to your website in order to track their package and see their order history.

Personally, I'd rather ensure that all customers that purchase visit the site twice.

However, if you want to leave off the password, and delete the account info from your database entirely after the purchase, then I recommend the 'Purchase without account' contribution.
