STS - Two Questions

Hey all,

Just two quick questions regarding the (really wonderful!) STS:

1. I'm trying to include some javascript in the shopping_cart.php file and need to include something in the <head> tag. However, I think the STS only grabs info following the <head> tag. Any suggestions?

2. I need to use SSL & have read that there are a few complications with STS & SSL. Before I committ to my shop to SSL etc, I was wondering if there is anyone out there using STS & SSL and if it's working properly (I read on the DiamondSea website the "lock" icon doesn't appear in IE, but couldn't find much more info about this).

Thanks to Brian for developing this! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks all,

best,

Brian

Brian,

First off I am nowhere near as knowledgeable as most of the people on this forum. Now that thats out of the way let me give you my opinion. : )

I have STS installed and several other mods and I did not do anything special to get HTTPS to work. I host on a Linux Server with Plesk management and there are 2 directories, one for http and one for https. When you point your browner to https:// it uses the https folder. I am not sure how your hosting is setup but it shouldn't matter. Even with one folder OScommerce shouldn't care what the connection is, it is just serving the files.

What files do you think need to be modified and for what? I am not asking because I think you are wrong, I just might learn something. : )
