Problems with web server behind router

Guest

Recommended Posts

I'm setting up a test web server with osCommerce. I'm having trouble getting it to be 'visible' to the public.

I have a dyndns.biz address that I've set up, which points to the correct IP for my router.

I've opened up a port and forwarded it to my web server. (I have not (yet) changed the port number). Nobody can access my web server however, from outside the office.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

To me it sounds like a port issue. I found that my ISP had certain ranges of ports block once I configured for that everthing was fine.
