I'm pretty new to osC myself but does this

  define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

really point to your image directory? Are your images in /images?

If you look at one of your pages without pictures, what doe sit say in the source (HTML) of the page. Where does the source say the pictures are?

Same question for hyperlinks.

Can't think of a signature tight now. But just you wait till I read the next Discworld!

That file is your catalog/admin/includes/configure.php file. Please post your catalog/includes/configure.php file if you want it looked at. By the way, the file posted looks as though it is for a local install (on your own computer) and not for an install on an online website.

The line

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', 'http://xtremecar.no/catalog/'); // where your pages are located on the server. if $DOCUMENT_ROOT doesnt suit you, replace with your local path. (eg, /usr/local/apache/htdocs)

should look like (replace file pathway with the one applicable to your website)

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/var/www/html/'); // where the pages are located on the server

If you did a manual install of osCommerce, using the /install/index.php pathway, then you would have seen an option to allow automatic configuration of your site. This box should have been checked.

I would suggest you save yourself a lot of grief by reinstalling, and have the installer set up your config files for you.
