Hello everybody,

this is my second post to that topic :)

by the time i installed my web shop i used the ssl option.

but that was unfortunately a misstake ... is it possible to RE-install the ssl check without re-installing the whole database and co?

thx for you effort ...

If you do not need SSL

In both catalog and admin/includes/configure.php

define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

i already have done this. thanks ...

are some php files still trying to connect to ssl?

the reason:

i do not have ssl installed on my server and wont be able to get an certificate installed in between the next two weeks. without the ssl i recive 404 errors for example ... /catalog/login.php ...

so now i have to get rid :) of the ssl ... if i "just" define "ENABLE_SSL" as false it will still be checked wouldnt it?

thanks again for your help

This is the same problem I have. I defined 'ENABLE_SSL to false as well as set the catalog server to http instead of https but it still tries to go to the https site so nobody can log into my site or go to checkout etc.

please read my thread on this topic.

It seems no-one has the answer to this problem and my entire site is out of commission.

This is critical!
