karraine Posted August 10, 2004 Posted August 10, 2004 Hi  I am attempting to put the banner rotator somewhere other than the footer. I've read the instructions in the information data base and done what it said to do but I keep getting error messages. I've tried everything I can think of and am now nearly bald due to tearing my hair out. Can anyone help me with this?
karraine Posted August 11, 2004 Author Posted August 11, 2004 Hi Hamed I get this: Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/northwoo/public_html/shop/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 32 A blank white screen with that on it. I know it's probably staring me in the face what I'm doing wrong, but as I'm rather a newbie when it comes to PHP and the like, I'm not quite sure what to do. I put in: <?php echo tep_display_banner('dynamic', '468x50'); ?> Like it tells me to do at : http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/A..._Tool/Tools/148 But I'm obviously missing something.... Thanks for your help by the way

karraine Posted August 11, 2004 Author Posted August 11, 2004 What file and where are you adding the banner code? Hi Richard, I'm trying to put in on the index page, at the top just before the Welcome, through the languages/english and on the index.php page And Hamed, thanks for that. I'll take a look and see if that helps me too
