zerodash Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 I am currently designing a site that features two separate storefronts sharing the same database. I made a copy of my original store files, and put them in their own directory and changed the configure settings. This way, I have two separate stores sharing the same MySQL database. Before the site goes live, I have one concern- session ID's getting mixed up. Is there any chance that having these two stores could create problems if many customers are browsing at the same time? I am not forcing cookies at this time, and only use session IDs in the address bar (or whatever its called). If there is such a potential problem...what can be done? Thanks! B)
Andrew Yuen Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 Gregg, I am trying to do the same thing: two store fronts sharing one database. I am having trouble with customer login. When I log in to one store front and try to go to the other, it logs me off. Do you have this same problem, and if so where you able to figure it out? Please let me know. Thanks!
