Not passing value

I am using the ccgv contrib. and the checkout with out membership. These are the only contribs that i am using that have impact on the checkout and update cart process. (I believe).The issue that I am having is that the value in the quantity dropdown is not being passed from product_info.php to shopping_cart.php.

The value looks like it is being passed to the variable in the "echo statement" on the shopping cart page but the qty box is not showing the correct quantity or adding the price. I can "manually change this value in the qty box and it takes the order properly but I need to have it work dynamically, So I dont have to worry about customers deciding a quantity more than once for the same product.

Any help would be appreciated.
