DVBHardware Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Is there a way to remove frontpage themes & styles from a webpage for a product description & specs. We have to copy and past product info and paste it into our product description. I would like to remove all the garbage code and let the OSC css controll it. Doing it by hand at code level is to time consuming. Thanks I'm not a coder just a splicer.
zerodash Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 If I understand your question properly... In Frontpage, go to "Tools" and select "Optimize HTML" then you get a set of check boxes to select what code types to remove or change automatically. I suggest you always save a version of your HTML in the original Frontpage format for editing purposes and use the optimized code only for publishing. I find It easier to do edits and alterations with the FP tags in place.
DVBHardware Posted August 9, 2004 Author Posted August 9, 2004 I am copying product info from pages and sites that have frontpage themes & fontstyles in their page. I use golive and editing the text and placing the descriptive text and tables into the OSC product description. If I get fontpage will I be able to clean out all the themes from the pages that have the product info I need to copy. Thanks Jimmy I'm not a coder just a splicer.
