Can anyone explain why my site has gone?

Hi Folks,

Prior to installing OScommerce, I had a static website produced by Frontpage. I installed Osc and created a website which up until now has been running fine without any problems. I now find that the site will not display and wondered if anyone could tell me why?

 

Because I used Frontpage, I left my index page on the internet with a logo of the business and a hyperlink to the new osc pages. That has worked with no problems for the past few months. Now when the link is clicked all I get is "the page cannot be displayed" warning in my browser. I have not modified, added or deleted anything from my osc files for a long time, so what has happened?

 

Alternatively can anyone assist me in the removal of the frontpage side of things so that the site will run straight from my shopping cart directory...even if my index.php is a few folders down from the root will it be found and displayed?

 

I am no expert in this field, so if there are some answers, please try to be gentle with me!
