Guest Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 Hi, Could you explain your question little bit better? I'm not sure what your question is. Thanks Sesiri Pathirane
Guest Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 One client of mine uses iTransact and when they were under attack they compensated him @ 75% of his normal daily volume. He has been a customer of theirs for years and has historical data to prove the net loss by their downtime. I have other clients that use iTransact and they were not so lucky. Maybe it's because they do not have the daily volume as client #1 but they received no compensation.
Guest Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 I would have a second payment processor installed (even if not activated) such as Paypal IPN. That way you have a backup ready to go so the customers are not totally without the means to purchase from you. You could also modify the text for the standard CC module and explain that the payment processor is currently down and CC's will be processed when they are up and running. I know that doesn't answer your question but backup plans are a good thing to have. Peter
