cemeflybyu Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 (edited) I followed the instrcutions that I found posted in another post here exactley to the letter, I went to the state folder, double clicked to show United States Virginia is set as my zone I set the VA tax at 4.5% I then created a an account under my name and info (I am in VA) placed and order for $1.25 but no matter what it will not add any tax. I went to payapl and added it under my preferences there as well to add the tax but it still didnt change anything. Under the admin screen I have the option for tax calulation set a #1 under priority and I also increased the decimal place for tax padding to 7, still NO TAX!! What am I doing wrong, I have delayed advertising my site with two potential sources for good orders b/c they are in VA as well and I dont want things starting off screwed up. Also is there any way to add some type of "paypal surcharge" for the 2.9% that paypal charges? I would like this to be auotmatic that it adds 2.9% to the total when the paypal option is selected.
