shayrgob Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 My site sells aftermarket automotive performance products and i have my catalog split up by make andmodel. When someone purchases a product from my site i cant tell what they buy from me b/c sometimes i have mutliple options for one single item and there would only be one model # for all 4 items for example. So i dont know which one to order b/c it doesnt have the make and model info w/ the product. Any Ideas?

shayrgob Posted August 8, 2004 Author Posted August 8, 2004 But when you put in products you can only put in one product #? Can you be a bit more specific. Im guessing that i should do that in the product attributes?

shayrgob Posted August 8, 2004 Author Posted August 8, 2004 I checked out your site but i still dont understand what you think i should do. It looks like you just put up a seperate product for the same car. EX: Say you have an exhaust that fits the RSX but the rsx has a type S and a base model. I put it under 1 general product listing but can choose from base or type s when you click on the exhaust for that car! Thats the type of option i want. I hope you see what im saying here.

I didn't want to do this for so many products.... plus having that information in the product name as opposed to attributes is more descriptive and better spider food. good luck.
shayrgob Posted August 8, 2004 Author Posted August 8, 2004 I see what your saying but i still dont know how to solve the problem i have. Do you think i should include the product # in w/ the product attribute?
