My site sells aftermarket automotive performance products and i have my catalog split up by make andmodel. When someone purchases a product from my site i cant tell what they buy from me b/c sometimes i have mutliple options for one single item and there would only be one model # for all 4 items for example. So i dont know which one to order b/c it doesnt have the make and model info w/ the product. Any Ideas?

use a unique part #/ model # for each product. this information will show up with each order.

But when you put in products you can only put in one product #? Can you be a bit more specific. Im guessing that i should do that in the product attributes?

visit my website (in profile) if you want an example of how I do it. I have 4,000 parts and in the same business as you.

I checked out your site but i still dont understand what you think i should do. It looks like you just put up a seperate product for the same car.

EX: Say you have an exhaust that fits the RSX but the rsx has a type S and a base model. I put it under 1 general product listing but can choose from base or type s when you click on the exhaust for that car!

Thats the type of option i want. I hope you see what im saying here.

then you should use product attributes. to each their own. I didn't want to do this for so many products.... plus having that information in the product name as opposed to attributes is more descriptive and better spider food.

good luck.

I see what your saying but i still dont know how to solve the problem i have. Do you think i should include the product # in w/ the product attribute?
