Before I pull out another patch of hair, please...

Which file do I modify in order to specify which template to use for the whole site and where is it?

I do have 5 different templates in the template folder.

The one showing now is the aabox template but i want to use the plain OSC template.

Thank you.

P.S. Comb for sale on e-bay

I do not use bts but there is a support thread for it in the contributions support section of the forum so you might want to check there to see if your questions has already been answered.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

I'm not sure if I can answer your question, but from my experience, there's also a few different templates in my directory. Since I'm using Original, I use the Original directory. But here's a tip for you and anyone reading this. I find this extremely useful, at least to me. I backed up all my files and renamed all the .php files to .txt

So, for instance if I want to locate a string (to change, modify, etc), simply type that string into the search box for windows explorer. It'll usually come back and tell you exactly what file it is where this string is located. I then change the relevant .php and works everytime. I was also confused in the beginning because of the various templates, but I think plain OSC is original (you must also specify that in ADMIN that you're using Original template). At least from my experience, that's what it is for the "plain" osc template. Don't pull your hair out, I completely understand your frustration, but once you get the hang of it, it's not that complicated. Good Luck!

I use Syn editor, it searches for text strings within files u specify and there s a right click option that jimps to the line, just great.
