Images on site are broken

I just installed a new store and I have everything set up in the configure.php file, but when I try to access my store all of the images are broken. I have tried to weed out the problem, but i've had no luck so far. Help please! :o

Are your images linked correctly (ie "images/pic1.jpg" and did you put the pictures into the images directory? Do you have a link to the shop?

Is it all images or some images like buttons etc, because if it is the buttons I had to change for the folder file permission for languages, english to something like 755. Maybe try that.
