evolutionwebinc Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 I've read thread after thread of the same problem and have tried a number of the suggested solutions to no avail. I can add a banner in the manager. File does upload ok. I use the default group. Tried with and without text in the HTML field. With text, the text message does appear. I tried making a new group "my banners" and editing footer.php...still no luck. Went back to the default layout and still no luck. Banner image never appears. No error message....just no banner. This seems to be a common problem. If someone has written a list of the fixes it would be nice if it were posted someplace outside of the forums to eliminate the need to search and try many things. Any ideas?

Guest Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 Ryan he had said he did what you suggested, what may have happened is that if he deleted the oscommerce banner the group would have gone also, If this is the case you would have to enable the 468x50 as a group to enable the new banners, not call them what you like.
