atsilvan Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 I added images for sub-categories which I now want to remove. (Not the images, just their connection to these sub-categories.) I see how I can CHANGE them, but I want to REMOVE them. I want NO image to show up for the sub-category, just the sub-category name. How can I do this? I am not php savvy, but can follow explicit directions.
conrad10781 Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 probably the easiest thing to do so you don't have to worry about undoing edited code in the future is make a 1x1pixel image in photoshop for example and name it blank.gif and use that as the image. it will be so small and transparent it won't affect anything, so even if you changed your theme to a black backround it would still be transparent. and about the size of a period .
atsilvan Posted August 7, 2004 Author Posted August 7, 2004 Just tried that fix. I now have a box showing where a picture should be, not a blank space. Just found there was a file called pixel_trans.gif already in the program. That works great!
atsilvan Posted August 7, 2004 Author Posted August 7, 2004 Whoops! Now there are big blank spaces where the pics were. Any more help?
atsilvan Posted August 7, 2004 Author Posted August 7, 2004 Fixed that by changing subcategory width in configuration to 0. Thanks for your original suggestion.
