heruraha Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 I know this question has been addressed a few times in the past, so I'm already aware of a few things... But, my client wants to do CC processing offline on his terminal. How reliable will the generic "credit card" module that comes with osC be? (I'm running the latest version, I assume, downloaded about 1 month ago). I already know about the "split" and I will either be using that or some method of encryption to store the numbers in the database. I just want to make sure that folks aren't getting "invalid card" messages when they do in fact has a valid card. I'm pretty sure we'll be accepting all the major cards, Visa, MC, Discover, not sure about AmEx or others... can verify that info if needed to answer my question. Thanks. Quote
Guest Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 I think, the short answer is, the supplied cc mod is crap. I am after one which will get exactly all the details, so I can process offline too. Look at my post here, so we can start a campaign to get a mod going! http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=108248 Cheers ALex :D Quote
montex Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Hello, I use the split method on one clients cart without any problem. I do not store the cc numbers on the server though. Monte Quote
