ChrisW123 Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 I'm running more tests and created a "Check/Money Order" payment order with my test customer. After completion, the customer was notified via email but the store owner (me) was not. Is this normal for check/money order payments? Should the store owner also receive an email? I believe I didn't receive email when using PayPal payment. Thanks, -Chris.
Guest Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 You should receive an email for all orders placed. The code to send the email is in order process if I remember correctly. The email used is the one you entered in the Admin CP --> My Store --> Store owner email

I just verified that it's working and that I can receive emails to it (from it), etc. I've tested with PayPal before (although it's not working right now), and it seemed to work (ie. I think I did receive the email that time).

I'm looking in checkout_confirmation.php, but I can't tell what happens after they press the "Confirm Order" button or where the code would go when it's pressed.
