Guest Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 I have 17 categories with a picture for each one and subcategories inside them... but some of them just won't show. When I click in one of the four missing categories it says: There are no products in this category. Which is wrong. I'm using Easypopulate and until now I never had problems, but I also spotted there's a problem with the prices they just don't show as they are, the text file reads 78,60 and once uploaded it appears as 78,00... Am I doing something wrong? Should I delete all the products and start from scratch?
Guest Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Right I fixed the problem using this format 1,560.50 instead of 1.560,50 for the prices in the spreadsheet... which I found a bit weird because we always use the dots for the thousand and the comma for decimal places but nevermind... What I still can't spot is what happens to those four categories that won't show, they're exactly the same as the others but it appears as no products inside the category so I don't even get the chance to see the subcategories inside... Anyone can help me out or give me any idea to what should I try and do? Thanks in advanced!
Guest Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Ehrr... yes I'm taking a liking to answer my ownself! Finally I decided to just delete everything through phpMyAdmin and upload everything back again... now I think I know what the problem was (supposedly) and I'm just leaving the hint here in case someone else experiences the same... I got rid of some characters I had in some categories like: / _ and ? Regarding the numbers should be something like this 5630.60 in order to have them correctly displayed as 5.630,60 (I still find weird that you need to use a dot in the decimal place just to see a comma displayed)
