Guest Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 Some features will not display, upon clicking the feature button or box the next screen is the "THIS PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED" with the usual instructions to check settings etc. At present, this occurs on the "ADD REVIEW"/"WRITE REVIEW ON PRODUCT" and in the Buying process when you attempt to access "CHECKOUT" For checkout, I have inserted account details. Can anyone assist, PLEASE
Guest Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 I have not resolved this problem to date. Thank you for other contributors on other silmilar forum items which may have helped. Can anyone assist, I have input quite a large amount of product info and altered, the front page but cannot get these above noted features to work. I have another copy of Oscommerce available on the host server but are not sure where to look for the necessary file(s). Please Tony
Guest Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 What's the URL? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Gorf, Thank you for your reply, it is a long time since my posting - I had lost hope and went onto other things to keep business operating but it is becoming necessary to have a better web site store in operation. The site is www.premierstop.com/tfsstore/ You will see that there is quite a lot of data already loaded - although this is just a small proportion, I don't really want to reload it all. I hope that you can help Many regards Tony
cre8itdesigns Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 I've been having the same problem! Only mine only gives me the error message when I try to checkout. Everything else seems to work properly. The crazy thing is that it used to work fine! Don't know what I did but now it doesn't. When I first installed my cart I had this problem too...it was due to not having a ssl certificate. I temporarily fixed it by changing the coding in both catalog/includes/configure.php and catalog/admin/includes/configure.php files from: define ('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? to: define ('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? That allowed me to proceed with the checkout process (only not with ssl of course). Then I figured out how to use my site host's shared ssl. I changed the coding back to true and everything worked fine! I wish someone would have an answer though...I've tried posting this problem with no luck. Can anyone please help?!?
