I've spent lots of time on my main site section's appearence, but I don't know how to move the look or at least the feel, over to the osCommerce site section. Not knowing PHP is not helping.

If you want to change the look of your osC site and do not know any php you should look at the sts template system in the contribution section.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

First thing you should do is change the permissions on your config files. I'm seeing the warning at the top of your catalog that your config file is still writable.

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. ~ Benjamin Franklin, 1759. տլ

Your admin needs to be password protected. Anyone can currently get in there to mess around with it.

read the documents. The link is in the top right of any forum page.

Do you really want to move the style of your main page over to your store? No offense, but it doesn't really say class, style and quality.

If I was crafty, this would be a funny signature.

The red and blue combination is not good

The site looks like someone made it with crayons.

The text on the left is impossible to read.

The text on top (your logo) doesn't look good, the rollover is even worse.

Look around at jewelry sites and try to match their layout and style.

blue nile, diamond.com, and ice.com are all the big ones that make tons of money online.

I highly doubt you will make much sales with your current site layout and design. Draw a few different designs out on paper with color and see what people like better then try to match it as best as possible on the internet.

Good luck,

Ryan

Jewellery (Jewelry) sites should always be in plain, open colours. For example, white, beige, very light grey etc.

Then have a few dashes of colour (but no BOLD colours) here and there.

The main emphasis of such a site would be on your (presumably) high ticket products. When people are spending hundreds, thousands of $ on 1 item, the site they should be buying from should be classy, understated and *totally professional*.
