Skip "The" on product listings sorting

Hi All,

 

Just wondering if anyone has any tips on two things:

 

1) Products listings alphabetically, just as they are by default, but skipping any "the" or "a" at the start of the name. Muy useful for movie or music titles, you would not want for example "The Clash" listed under C, not T, and it would look weird listed as just "Clash", or "Clash, The".

 

2) Alphabetical product listing in the shopping cart and orders/invoices/packing lists! Right now it's all over the place, depending on the order the customer adds to cart, can be a real pain in the @$$ to process when it comes to large orders.

 

I've searched this forum and the contributions for anything along those lines, but no luck...
