Help for a Newbie

I have been setting up my new store for a couple of days and have a few questions.

1. Is there anywhere I can find details about the admin area. A lot of stuff was I guess preset when I started and I don't know exactly what I'm doing. A tutorial or something like that would be helpful.

2. I can't figure out how to make the tax module just charge sales tax for my state.

3. I have a paypal account. I turned it on but don't see where a customer can use his credit card through paypal. I believe this is a newer PP feature for customers who don't have an account with PP but lets me take their card because I do have an account.

Thanks for any help :)

For one and two you should read through the docs At the top right hand corner of this page you will see links to contributions and the knowledge base which is always a good place to start.

For paypal a customer can use their credit card without an account as long as you have one. In my opinion if you are going to use paypal you should install the paypal shopping cart ipn contribution.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
