Does anyone have 2 sites running on their own server and if so how did you get VirtualHost to work withh SSL?

I have a whole lot more than two running on my server. As far as I know, each domain will need its own IP address (ask your hosting company if you need more) in order to have its own SSL certificate.

I see I've got to have 2 static IPs from my ISP provider. I only have a dynamic IP which is updated on the name server. So with two Ip adresses then I could just set up IP based virtual hosts. But will I need to set up Virtual hosts seperately for the ssl twice or only once. This is all very confusing when ssl gets in the mix. How are your VirtualHosts set up and do you have a Virtualhost_default set up for your ssl or is your ssl done differently?

What about having an entry page with a spript that gets the url that is typed in to the browser (not the IP) then write a script for a redirect to the appropriate directory. I suppose that would not do well for ranking on search engines then.

I'm very confused about what you're asking. Are you trying to run two stores from the same set of files?

All of my setup functions are handled through Plesk, I don't really have much of a clue what goes on there.

I'm afraid I can't be of much help. The questions you're asking are beyond my realm of expertise...you should probably contact your host about it.
