siavash Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 hi, thought i should post my question here as the easy populate thread doesn't seem to attract enough attention right now! so sorry in advance if i'm putting my question here rather than the relevant contribution support... i am aware or the rule. i have problem with my easy populate and need to sort it out ASAP! can someone please check this out: i can actually create a tab delimited file in my temp directory but i'm not able to download it!! when i click on: "Create Complete tab-delimited .txt file in temp dir" EP generates the file and i can see it in my temp dir. but i'm not able to download it neither by clicking download directly or clicking download in temp! just tried to upload a file and i got this: Warning: move_uploaded_file(/.../shop/temp/EP2004Jul19-0012.txt): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /.../shop/admin/easypopulate_functions.php on line 32 Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpO0C8sr' to '/..../shop/temp/EP2004Jul19-0012.txt' in /.../shop/admin/easypopulate_functions.php on line 32 File uploaded. Temporary filename: /tmp/phpO0C8sr User filename: EP2004Jul19-0012.txt Size: 12720 Warning: file(/.../shop/temp/EP2004Jul19-0012.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /.../shop/admin/easypopulate.php on line 651 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /.../shop/admin/easypopulate.php on line 674 once again sorry for cross publishing. i need URGENT support. I'm a newbie and haven't got much familiarity w/ PHP stuff. thanks. Did you try? Did you fail? No matter! Try again. Fail again! But fail better!

siavash Posted August 17, 2004 Author Posted August 17, 2004 check your temp file permission. it should be writable. that can be the solution. Did you try? Did you fail? No matter! Try again. Fail again! But fail better!
