wootang Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 everytime I run the easy populate file, instead of updating the current values to new values, it creates doubles in my DBase. How do I erase all the entries in my dbase and start over. what is causing this?
wootang Posted August 3, 2004 Author Posted August 3, 2004 figured it out. It was the extra fields in model. there is a limitation of 12 characters. I removed the puncuation from the model number and presto it worked. You can have no more than 12 characters unless you increase the size. There is a $model size attribute somewhere in the easy population files. I think you have to increase the size of the DB tables. i didn't get into that just shortened my model name length. Please post instructions if you know how. I went into a webbased DBase admin console to delete all the erroneous data in the dbase and started all over. worked like a charm. :)
