azziman Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 how can i put the images in sub folder i.e. images/hdd/westerndigi.jpg i tried to do this via admin but it says no file is uplaoded. - in the product image field.
ryanf Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 How did you try to do this via the admin? When you create a new product, it just gives you a browser window and you select the image and it puts in into the images directory. the image directory is set in the configure.php file in the includes directory. If you are going to put all the images in different subdirectories you may need to modify some code. Is there a reason you are doing this? If I was crafty, this would be a funny signature.
azziman Posted August 2, 2004 Author Posted August 2, 2004 u know like the fresh install with unreal tournament it refers to the image as: gt_interactive/unreal_tournament.gif what i cant do is set this up for say hard drives? coz it does make maintenace easier

ryanf Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Here I found this post by Harald. It should help. Ryan If I was crafty, this would be a funny signature.
Guest Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 another easy way to do it, is to ftp the images to the spots where you need them. when adding the product, just type in the path name, ie foldername/image.whatever
azziman Posted August 2, 2004 Author Posted August 2, 2004 nope i tried both methods both didnt work :( any other solution?
Andrew J Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 I use EasyPopulate 2.74 to define image paths. You need to upload your images to the right place then refresh the image paths in the database with EP 2.74. Not an easy method but works for me.
