hmmm thanx alot...but i couldn't find what i needed..how come wat i posted was gone??

nvm...erm..

what i said was this:

i tested my setup of oscommerce by placing 3 seperate orders as a 'customer'.

then when i checked the main admin page, orders which are pending showed 3.

However, when i clicked on customers -> orders to see the details. the orders page showed a blank table and displayed 0 of 0 orders.

And also as a 'customer' , i received 3 order process notifications email.

so the problem is the orders page, i suppose. anyone has any idea on this?

is it the standard order page ? or has it been modded ?

if modded - back it up with and original and see if it works - if it does compare the 2 files to see where probs may be.

It is the original orders page. erm when i said the orders page, i refer to the orders page displayed in the admin area.

and i was referring to the underlying admin/orders.php page.

make sure that your not also looking at the processed or completed orders. Make sure that the pull down box to the upper right of the page says all orders or pending.

If I was crafty, this would be a funny signature.

i think i figured it out...thank u all...

i think the order-total module under the modules menu has to be installed.

i installed it...and i placed a new order and this order was reflected correctly.

however, the previous orders still didn't show.. any idea how to reset the database to 0 for these invisible orders??

hey thanx alot for all your kind help again...really...
