QuickTiming Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 I'm working with installing this contribution: Account Account Signup Management 1.0. It seems pretty straightforward, but there is a part of the instructions that has me stumped ? the directions are ? Replace these lines (in catalog/includes/application_top.php): // Control what fields of the customer table are used define('ACCOUNT_GENDER', 'true'); define('ACCOUNT_DOB', 'true'); define('ACCOUNT_COMPANY', 'false'); define('ACCOUNT_SUBURB', 'true'); define('ACCOUNT_STATE', 'true'); However... I can't seem to find this string in catalog/includes/application_top.php at all. Does anyone have any insight into this? Are the directions wrong, or is that string somewhere else? In another file? Druide Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 NOTE: links to your websites are NOT allowed here in your signature. Better delete that stuff b4 you get the TEAM on your neck, you need to use the www button in your profile to add your link to 1 of your websites. Your question needs a little more input, - which osc version do you use - try to get a tool like UltraEdit or so that makes searching for special lines in all the files much easier, and otherwise you can use the windows search option IF you prefer that ofcourse. the main files to look for such info you request are in the language files Quote Robert We all need to learn it once, how hard it may seem when you look at it, also you will master it someday ;)
Chris Dunning Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 I think that those things are actually defined in the database through the admin screen...I think that the contribution was probably written for an older version.
