Changing the background

I'd like to make the background darker than the stock osc's white.

The layout depends on the darker background, can someone help me out? :D

It's all in the stylesheet (stylesheet.css):

BODY {
 background: #ffffff;
 color: #000000;

Change the background color to whatever you want.

yea i've changed that but it doesn't follow throughout the whole website, only a bit in the top...
