Using osCommerce with your own HTML pages?

excuse me, I'm new to this. I've been reading and trying to pick it up as quickly as possible...

 

Is it possible to use your own HTML design structure, and incorporate it with the OsCommerce architecture?

 

I read a message that said a contribution to do this existed, but I couldn't find one.
