How to search for a keyword in multiple files?

I didn't think this was possible until I stumbled on a post from a couple weeks ago when someone said this: "A simple Grep or Search/Find in your main oscommerce and includes directory will pretty much point you to which files you need to modify."

 

Now that would definitely save me a lot of trouble. But how do I do that? :)

i.e. use dreamweaver, set the site directory you use and the use the find and replace. you can also mark the files in the site strukture that you would like to search in.

I use Grep outside of Dreamweaver and am really happy with it - you've just gotta set it up to search out *php files basically - the little * is very important as I couldn't make it work properly b4 I understood that - good luck - here's the download:
