Where is the 'Switch' module

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

I have had a look in the contribution section for a module that enables my customers to use a Switch card.

Can somebody kindly point me to where I might find this.

(I am not posting this as the lazy way out, I have looked and cannot find one.)

Many thanks! :)

switch isn't dealt with as a separate payment vehicle as such - merchants that accept visa/mastercards would more than likely also accept switch.

so the answer to your question will probably depend on your merchant.

When a customer enters there Switch number they get this message:-

The first four digits of the number entered are: 6333<br>If that number is correct, we do not accept that type of credit card.<br>If it is wrong, please try again.

How can I get around this.

Many thanks. :)

BTW, I am using the standard CC module that was included with the installation for the reference.

you could modify the javascript validation code or take it out? depends how much you want it to be validated...

does switch card online not need an issue number to be entered also though?

i am searching for a payment system that allows all of the credit cards etc like switch, visa, mastercard...a solution to that would solve your problem too...

always here to offer some useless advice....

Is there a solution you know of that allows for all UK credit cards to be used?

I have spent the last two hours going thorugh every post on the 'Payment' forum and the Payment conributions section...and I did not find anything :(

I see the default cc module allows visa and mastercard but i need to use switch and maestro too. I do not want a great long list of payment options ie one for each, i want an overall credit card module which allows for a selection to be made and then reloads the page with different input boxes dependant on the type of card selected...

or if that is not possible, just something short term which means any of those cards could be used. the validation is not AS important, as i could create this myself if i could find any info on card details on the web! all i want is some rules and regulations :D all i find is talk of merchant banks lol

anyways...enough rambling on... any help would be much appreciated Gary :D
