Guest Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 I cannot get either the BTS or STS template mods to work without screwing something up. This is not an osC or mod fault, its me. I don't have a f*****g clue. I can design an html page to look *exactly* the way I want it to. But when trying to merge it into the osc store layout, things go horribly awry. So I'm thinking that maybe going the other direction may be less fraught with frustrations. What I want to do is use JUST the shopping cart functions of osC and incorporate them into my html pages, thereby mainting MY unique layout/look. This is basically a templating idea, but without using a templating mod like BTS or STS. Question :: CAN this be done? Is it too much of an undertaking? Does it involve too much more work than simply including the relevant php pages where wanted? (I know it will...basically I'm asking how much more?) Is it even viable? Or should I just get one of those crappy scripts like Mal's e-cart? Oooo .... I know .... maybe I should just go bury my head in the sand and let the e-commerce world ride over top of me, back-up and then do it again? :blink: :P :unsure: :rolleyes: :wacko:
