Guest Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 I have an Auth.net gateway and it is really frustrating. If the customer lingers on the "Order Confirmation" screen before submitting their order, the charge will not come through with Auth.net. The charge will show up as a general error and you will not get your money. Given that Auth.net or the stock Auth.net module that comes with OSC will not let you have the whole credit card # and exp date, you cannot go into your virtual terminal and charge the card. You have to call up the customer and get the card #, which does not go over well with the customer a lot of the time. I know this is not exactly 100% OSC related but I thought I'd post to see if others have a solution to this or something. If I find a gateway that does not timeout like this and there is an OSC module for it, I would consider changing over to it. What would be good too is an auth.net module that would allow you to store the credit card #s. At least then I could just go in to the virtual terminal in my auth.net account and manually enter the transaction.
