default order status and upgrade issue

Hi,

I run a online software subscribtion site http://www.optimziekit.com with a oscommerce shop at https://secure.optimizekit.com

 

I want the set the order status as default to processed, cause i have nothing to ship, its yust a sign in process. Where to set this?

 

I also read somewhere that its possible to 'update' the order process. Iam looking for a way for people to upgrade there subscribtion plan and pay me the difference.

 

The solution I can think of is make some upgrade products from a to b and from a to c both with the diffence between the plans as fee.

 

But maybe there is a better solution? Something to do with a memebr can update his plan and pay the difference automatic?

this is easy peasy, it is in the table orderstatus just rename it ;)
