elliottmina Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 I want to set up the shipping to allow a flat rate for the USA, and USPS and UPS for everywhere else. I'd settle for flat rate for US, and USPS/UPS for everywhere. I have created a zone called international, and added all countries to it. I created a zone called USA, and added all the states to it. I created a 3rd zone called California (with the state of california as it's only zone) since I need to charge tax for california residents. I enabled UPS, and set its shipping zone to International. I enabled flat rate, and set the shipping zone to USA. However when I change my address to outside of the USA, it doesn't show any shipping methods at all. When I keep my address within the united states, it shows flat rate as expected.
bglkk Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 Is the country USA in both zone USA and zone International (maybe there's a conflict)? Except that we're using UPS domestically instead of Flat Rate, what you're describing is the same setup as ours. Should work. btw, we've found that USPS is much cheaper than UPS internationally.
