Guest Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 I am trying to get some ideas on order processing and fulfillment from other high volume sellers. Currently I made a custom mod that I can view all the items sold by item. It'll tell me how many I have sold, and how many I have on hand. I click on the item, and it gives me a list of all the orders, the date the order was placed, the payment status, and the shipping country. I check each order I want to ship, and hit the 'Ship' button and it goes through and sends a generic 'Your item has shipped on xx-xx-xxxx, please allow 3-5 business days for delivery' email. I marks the status as Shipped and adds the ship date to the order status screen. It also creates a .csv file and gives me a link to download the file. I usually go through all my items I have in stock a few times a week and do that for each item. I then load up Stamps.com and import the .csv and print out labels per item. It's great if there are only one item per order, but now I'm getting alot of multiple item orders. Kind of throws a wrench in the works. I was wondering how other people do things. How do you view the order than need to be shipped? How do you determine what is in stock to be shipped? Do you print packing slips for the orders? What kinds of mods (custom or freely available) are people using.
Guest Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 6 months without a reply :( so sad! I wish I could contribute, but I was more wondering what your process is now. Did you solve this issue, and how? I would appreciate the advice! :-j.
