ZONES AND SUB-ZONES

Hello,

I am from Brazil and with a small doubt for translation of the following terms:

 

1) ZONES

2) Sub-zones

 

If i'm correct, zones is the region and sub-zones is the state. Can confirm?

I think you're right about a zone being a region, but that could be also a "state", "province", "county", whatever--depending on the country. Never heard of a "sub-zone", where did you find that?

I see this in the file:

 

\catalog\admin\includes\languages\portugues\geo_zones.php

 

define('TEXT_INFO_HEADING_NEW_SUB_ZONE', 'New Sub Zone');

define('TEXT_INFO_NEW_SUB_ZONE_INTRO', 'Please enter the new sub zone information');

I see, sub zone shows up when one inserts an item into a Tax Zone. But no clue why they are using that term. You're still just adding countries and zones. A zone is a zone is a zone (my opinion). ;)
