Bartman Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 Well, after many months of work here's The Glow Lounge. I would love some feedback, I suspect it might be a little bit 'standard' looking but I hope it is clear and easy to navigate. I've spent a lot of time on the images. Anything obvious guys? Thanks, Bart
Guest Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 I really liked your site. Who designed it for you? I wish I could make mine as nice as yours. Good luck.
ema Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 Hi, i like very much of your site the colors is seemed to my site. And whe are in the same business. I who like to now ao you do to obtain available options in the suttle computers, our did you use a contribution ?
iainshaw Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 beautiful looking site - yes it might be a bit standard but it's a lovely implementation with nice touches. Looks better than some of the more wildly modded sites I'd say the time spent on images was time well spent. The images and colour scheme work well I've been looking at it on a 56K dialup. the site takes a long time to sort itself out in terms of layout. It looks like it's going to need LOTS of sideways scrolling and if I was loading the site to shop rather than test it, I might well have clicked away before it sorted itself out. One other small point and it won't take long to implement it. Why not change the home | catalogue part of the breadcrumbs to simply say home. the two links point to the same place. last thing from me, how did you implement the shopping cart, number of items, cost and weight in the header? I'd love to do that on mine
Bartman Posted July 29, 2004 Author Posted July 29, 2004 Thanks for that - I may try to fix the width of the left and right hand columns to sort out the resizing issue. As for the shopping cart in the header bit - that came with the distribution I originally used - the shoppe enhancement controller from Webmakers. Highly recommended distribution! Thanks omegajewelry, you're making me blush :-)
