Webmail client for use with osc?

I'd like to add a webmail client to my osc site and would appreciate any suggestions on which one is best and integrates well with osc. So far, I'm aware of squirrelmail.

 

Basically, each member would have a web-based mailbox/private account page and the store admin and member can send messages to each other. All messages would be between the admin and the member, so it doesn not need to function as a regular e-mail address. Each member would also receive e-mail notification whenever the contents of their web mailbox has changed.

 

I didn't see anything in the contributions section.

There is a contribution for support tickets that pretty much does that, The only problem is that it expects contact to be initiated by the customer.

Thanks, but that wouldn't be the ideal solution. I guess I could just use the webmail feature provided by my host, but that's also not the best solution, since I don't think I'd be able to switch hosts without disrupting the webmail (even though the webmail domain is tied to my site's domain name).
