Choose your method of payment as Credit card (Paypal) and write something in the comments page so I know what you are doing. You don't need to go all the way beyond the Paypal page (unless you want to buy something of course, feel free!). you should reach the Paypal page - then you can stop. I will get a confirmation order by email. Please send me a confirmation msg when you have done this and describe any problems you may have along the way or perhaps give me some advice. I don't know whether there is a problem but I see in my Admin customer details that I have had quite a few people creating new accounts but they never actually checkout by going any further than the checkout page - the Paypal page and creating the Paypal account. I think this may be where the problem lies - they don't want to have to create a Paypal account as well. I'm in the UK, so the Paypal option of not having to create an account doesn't yet apply. I don't want to lose any customers because of this, so I may just have to get a merchant account... but if everything is working OK, then I'm not sure about changing. Thanks for any help with this. Let me know of any problems. jpool Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 The site really looks good, I have a few suggestions, in the menu when you have no subcategories, you can still click on " " and it gives an error, its very odd(but it just happened to me) A description of the items is important, I know it s awfull to do but thats when you are telling the customer why they should buy one or other thing. Also try to submit your website to search engines and directories, i just did a google link:www.alive-jewerlly.com and the result was 0 I hope this is helpful cheers j
