gorcsos Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Hi! I've just installed the osCommerce 2.2. I find out I shoud rename and remove the admin directory. I tried something like: /var/www/html/catalog/ - here is the catalog /var/admin/ - here is the admin I think the "/var/admin/" is not reachable from outside, it means it shoul be safe. It works with /var/www/html/ directory good, but the problem is I do not know how to configure the phph/apache to work on this directory too. Could someone help me? Gabor P.s.: I understood that the next steps are not enought :( Just upload the content of you admin directory to the desired location say /root/php-is-great/my-admin-directory/ and say your catalog directory is here /root/catalog/ then modify the configure.php file in your new admin includes directory so that the paths are mapped correctly.
