ecopeia Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I hope someone is willing to take up my cause...please? LOL. Ok, what I am looking for is a way to display all sub-category products under a main category on the product_listing page when a customer clicks on the main category link. But...I do not really want to do this by linking all the sub-category products to the main cateogry - unless there is no other way. For example: Mr. X clicks on Video Games. I have 4 sub-categories beneath it for Xbox, Playstation, PS2 and gamecube. When Mr. X clicks on Video Games, I want him to see a page that displays all the products from Xbox, Playstation, PS2 and gamecube and I want to have a drop down menu that takes him to the sub-category product_listing results. Is this possible? And if so, could someone help me? I figure if everybody pitched in a bit of code I will be eternally grateful. I'm crossing my fingers. Thanks in advance! My Contributions
tobycatlin Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I am looking for something very similar. categories.php is a bit confusing and i couldn't get very far with modifying it. But as always with theses things, you bang your head against the wall for hours then bang it all falls into place. If i have any break throughs i'll post em up and if anyone else out there can lend a hand i would be very grateful I ain't got time to bleed
