Guest Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Hi all! was just wondering... how do the Product Notifications actualy work. They don't seem to be doing much on my store. if i choose to be notified i don;t recieve any emails etc if i change the price or description or anything. Can any one explain how this works? Thanks, Edwin

Anyone that does know can ya help us out ...... Thanks,

mittoni Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Use the Admin -> Tools -> Newsletters You change the "newsletter type" to product_notification and follow the procedure of typing the product update just as you would a newsletter. Then click send -- you will see that you can select the product/s for which the notificaiton is pertinent. Yes it is a little clumsy, but after you use this once or twice it really does work very well.
oldworldcharms Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Can this be changed to Catagory notification? If this can how can this be done. Thanks Elizabeth
